Yarn Kit for Gnocchi, the “Make Gnome Mistake” Spring 2022 Gnome MKAL 9 by Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes
Hand Dyed Yarn ~ 100% Superwash Merino Wool ~ Mini Skeins ~ 4 Ply Fingering/Sock Weight ~ Black Sheep Dyeworks
Included in this kit:
• Three mini skeins of hand dyed yarn
• Pattern is NOT included; see link below to purchase pattern directly from Imagined Landscapes
• Each mini skein weighs 20g, approximately 87 yards
• Approximately 7 to 8 stitches per inch on US #1-3 needles
• Hand dyed in small batches
• Hand or machine wash, dry flat
I’ve assembled four colorway options for you to choose from:
Set A: Maize, Bark Tonal, Tigerlily
Set B: Petal, Blackberry Tonal, Orchid
Set C: Pale Wheat, Plumberry, Moss Tonal
Set D: Silver Lining, Ink Tonal, Bluebird
Sarah's recommendation: C1 and C2 should have the most contrast. For example, use the lightest color as C1; darkest color as C2 (or you could reverse them - darkest as C1 and lightest as C2); medium to dark color as C3.
Please note that I have tried to capture the colors accurately, but my camera (and perhaps your monitor) may result in some variation.
The pattern (sold separately) and more information on the MKAL can be found here: https://www.imaginedlandscapes.com/patterns/make-gnome-mistake
This MKAL features ...
• Seven small clues, released May 13-May 29
• Colorwork - but don't be intimidated! Sarah provides plenty of help, and you can opt to knit solid instead
• Loads of tutorials
• Fun new gnome details
